What is HUMUS ANENZY®?

HUMUS ANENZY® is a range of organic fertilizers framed, as regulatory, as MIXED COMPREHENSED AMMENDANTS.
The soil improvers are fertilizers used to improve the soil, or to maintain or increase its fertility. In the category mixed composted fertilizers flows a wide range of highly heterogeneous products to each other for agronomic characteristics and for intended use.
The soil improvers of the HUMUS ANENZY® range come from an integrated process of exploitation of zootechnical manure and appropriately selected agricultural vegetable by-products, which combines anaerobic digestion and composting.
The production process boasts, besides the selection of raw materials, the complete traceability of the supply chain, offering quality guarantees often unattainable in the compost landscape.
HUMUS ANENZY® products are particularly recommended for integrated, organic and biodynamic farming.

                                            Normative References - Permitted in Organic Agriculture

The Humus AnEnzy® range is made up of specific products that fall under the Allowed Permit in Organic Farming as they are produced starting from appropriately selected manure from previously fermented NON industrial farms and a mixture of agricultural vegetable by-products.
The definition of Industrial breeding: it was clarified by the DM-18354-27-11-2009.
The Humus AnEnzy® falls into the category "mixed composted soil improvers" (annex 2 - n 5 D. lgs 75_2010 - pag.53 - 54).The aforementioned decree clarifies that fertilizers possessing the characteristics defined in the aforementioned decree (table 1 List of fertilizers suitable for use in organic farming, Legislative Decree 75_2010) can be registered in the REGISTER OF FERTILIZERS ALLOWED IN ORGANIC AGRICULTURE to replace the previous one.
In the specific case of the mixed composted soil improvers in which the products of the Humus AnEnzy® range fall, the decree lists the raw materials that can be used (table 1 List of fertilizers suitable for use in organic farming D. lgs 75_2010 - soil improvers - pag. 131). As far as animal dejections are concerned, they are included EXCLUSIVELY in the case they come from non-industrial herds (condition indicated as required by EC Reg. No. 889/2008).

                                                                  Why use the HUMUS ANENZY® soil improvers?

The use of soil improvers HUMUS ANENZY® completely replaces the fertilization, but not the fertilization, which however significantly reduces the needs, as it provides a fair amount of nutrients and optimizes the effect of fertilizers.
In the cultivated land, the continuous removal of biomass and the repeated processes determine the progressive decrease of the organic substance contained in it. In extreme cases (soils with organic substance <1.5%) there is even talk of desertification, as the soil becomes an inhospitable means for many forms of life, be it plant, animal or microbial.
The specific function of the HUMUS ANENZY® soil improvers is to provide a stable organic substance, thereby improving the physical, chemical and biological properties of the soil and, secondarily, to providing nutrients for the crops.

                                 What are the effects of the HUMUS ANENZY® soil improvers?

  • improve soil structure and make it more resistant to compaction (improve aeration, drainage, workability, thermal inertia, increase soil water retention);
  • favoring the creation of stable aggregates, can be a valuable aid in the containment of erosion phenomena of sloping land;
  • improve the nutritional function of the soil (increasing cation exchange capacity limit leaching and create a stock of nutrients, which are released gradually);
  • increase the buffer power of the soil (property that makes the soil able to buffer sudden changes in chemical properties, allowing the plants greater chances of adaptation);
  • bring microorganisms capable of carrying out multiple functions useful to crops (increase the availability of micronutrients, induce resistance in plants, compete with some pathogens);
  • bring nutrients to the soil and therefore allow to reduce the doses of chemical fertilizers;
  • they are an excellent substitute for manure, compared to which more contained dosages are sufficient;
  • induce invigorating effects on cultures by stimulation of microbial and enzymatic activity.

                              What are the distinctive aspects of the HUMUS ANENZY® amendments?

  • unlike most compost, they offer uniformity of agronomic characteristics between lots, thanks to the standardization of the production process and of the raw materials used;
  • they boast the complete traceability of the production chain;
  • the raw materials are selected and consist mainly of manure and do not contain sludge;
  • the production process involves a double passage of sanitation (anaerobic phase and thermophilic phase) to break down any pathogenic microorganisms;
  • the production chain is highly eco-sustainable as:

     - enhances a potentially polluting waste due to presence
       nitrates, helping breeders to comply with Nitrate Regulations;
     - produces renewable energy;
     - reduces CO2 emissions into the atmosphere;
     - reduces emissions due to the production of synthetic fertilizers;
     - reduces the use of peat.

The HUMUS ANENZY® soil improvers can be used in:

  • tree crops (orchards and vineyards) in pre-planting and covering;
  • horticulture;
  • nursery (in the composition of substrates);
  • professional and hobby gardening activities;
  • turf.

Available formats:

  • in bulk;
  • big bag;
  • bags 22 kg (80 liters) - bags 5 kg (20 liters).

    The HUMUS ANENZY® soil improvers should be administered and buried during the working of the soil up to a depth of 30 cm within 6 hours after spreading to avoid oxidation. Generally, the landfill is carried out concurrently with the soil tillage and, if possible, should be brought forward some weeks before sowing or transplanting. If you do not want to bury the product, it is advisable to proceed early spring or late autumn when the weather conditions are characterized by mild temperatures and / or before the rains.

In the event of storage of the product, it is advisable to keep it covered in sheltered from bad weather and direct insolation and to administer it within 1 year to reduce the loss of organic substance. It should be noted that the effects on the crop are difficult to reveal before the 2nd year, since the increase in soil fertility does not immediately affect the crops. Furthermore, the contribution of soil improvers, to have the desired effect, must be constant. On the other hand, sufficiently ameliorated soils present the so-called "old force" or maintain long-term fertility even if they stop feeding.
HUMUS ANENZY® is not pelleted because pelletizing is an energetic and climatic inefficiency in modern production chains: an environmentally friendly product requires low energy inputs, furthermore, with the thermal operations necessary for pelletizing, the precious microbial charge of the soil improver is drastically reduced ( we need to consider the growing microbial impoverishment of our soils, the Po valley, for example, has the highest loss of microbi
odiversity in Europe).
The distribution of HUMUS ANENZY® can be done with special machines called spandi humus.
